what is this place
this is the debut release from sunnydale at the end of time, a project built out of familiar songs slowed down until they stop sounding like anything you remember and start sounding like something you're grieving.
every track here started as a song you already know. it gets stretched, warped, and buried under tape hiss until it feels less like a cover and more like a broadcast picked up from a town that isn't there anymore. this isn't nostalgia for its own sake — it's what's left after the nostalgia burns off.
the whole thing is soaked in the emotional wreckage of buffy the vampire slayer: the hellmouth, the friends you lost, the last day of school that never really ends. this is an unofficial, fan-made, not-for-profit tribute. it isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the people who own buffy. all of that still belongs to them.
